Women's Health Occupational Therapist
The journey to motherhood creates dramatic physical and mental changes in women. These shifts in both your anatomy and self-identity change the way your body moves, your ability to take care of yourself and your home, relationships with your partner, family and friends, your ability to create a work/life balance, and the way you've always seen yourself.
As if taking care of little humans wasn't hard enough! Too often, moms are doing it all alone, without the right support. Suzanne Cohen Maternal Support helps mothers - aspiring, new and experienced - thrive in their new role.
Hi, I’m Suzanne. I’m an occupational therapist dedicated to supporting women in the motherhood journey. I work with women through individual sessions and support groups, focusing on the physical and mental shifts necessary for women during their transition to motherhood. In addition to my experience as a mother, I’ve personally struggled with infertility, a high-risk pregnancy, and a traumatic birth experience. Not all pregnancies and births live up to our expectations, and unfortunately women aren’t always comfortable expressing themselves when they don't. In addition to supporting your physical recovery, I hope to serve as a guide to help navigate the complicated emotions that often arise during this journey.
